Care for the person and the sample

Safety and specimen integrity

A useful sample depends on careful collection and clear evidence of what happened afterward.

Careful reconciliation and secure custody protect the integrity of every sample.

The person and the verified order are checked before collection is completed.

Identity and order checks

Before an approved collection, the required identity and provider-order details are checked. Clients are not asked to invent test names or diagnosis codes.

Labels and custody evidence make the handoff easier to follow without claiming a laboratory result.

Labels and documented custody

Accepted visits include documentation of specimen labels, collection, transport and laboratory handoff. Changes and exceptions require follow-up.

Laboratory-specific requirements must come from the verified receiving laboratory.

Laboratory-specific handling

Container, processing, temperature and timing requirements must come from a verified receiving-laboratory source. The website does not supply generic clinical preparation instructions.

An exception-review workspace shows a blank checklist, unopened supplies and an empty tube holder.
An exception needs a careful follow-up step—not an unsupported success message.

When something needs another step

A rejected or insufficient sample may require a recollection review. Laboratory receipt and acceptance do not mean testing is complete. Your laboratory or provider remains responsible for results and medical guidance.

Workflow safeguards are still under review; this is not a certification claim.

Before service begins

Clinical procedures, laboratory agreements and operational safeguards must be approved before service begins. These preparations are not a certification or a claim of HIPAA compliance. This is not an emergency service.
